Nano-optical microlens with ultrashort focal length using negative refraction

Sridhar We have experimentally realized an ultrashort focal length planoconcave microlens in an InP/InGaAsP semiconductor two-dimensional (2D) photonic crystal with negative index of refraction (0.7).
